Job Summary

Compliance Analysts will have the opportunity to work in a seasonal role on an eCommunications Surveillance project with one of the world’s largest financial institutions. In this role, Compliance Analysts will leverage various technologies to screen eCommunications for client-defined market abuse and non-compliance. The position will be full-time and delivered remotely. The initial probation period is approximately six (6) months with an opportunity to be converted to regular full-time role with benefits. Compliance Analysts will be provided laptops to use for the duration of this project and will be compensated at an hourly rate based on experience with overtime eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Screen eCommunications quickly and effectively using client-developed guidelines on market abuse and non-compliance
  • Identify and escalate potential instances of market abuse and non-compliance
  • Work with client teams to ensure appropriate escalation of relevant cases
  • Assist with development of reports on the eCommunications Surveillance KPIs

Skills + Qualifications

  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proactive with minimal need for guidance
  • Basic familiarity with regulations related to eCommunications Surveillance
  • Basic familiarity with FCA regulations and application to financial services clients
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Computer literate with good MS office skills
  • Experience in compliance and trade monitoring software (e.g., HP Autonomy, Digital Reasoning, Synthesys, etc.) preferred, but not required
  • Experience or interest in eCommunications Surveillance, trade surveillance, market abuse or compliance within a financial services setting
